Now, here comes the part where I am now unable to restore the NB to factory settings. After that, I ended up using my desktop PC to create a Windows 10 圆4 USB media and install it on the GT73VR, which all works fine. Therefore, after multiple SOL moments, I decided to delete the RAID volume(s) through IRST (Intel Rapid Storage Technology) in the BIOS. I tried to set it to both Legacy, UEFI and UEFI-CSM. This caused the system to not boot anymore. I failed here, since I did not convert any of the other volumes to MBR(if this would have worked at all.) Prior to this, I couldn't get the Windows 7 USB to work well, USB 3.0, HDD, etc.įinally at that point decided to convert the SSD (RAID 0, OS_Install) disk to MBR. I messed up pretty big, since I was almost slightly lost in what I was doing. At some point I wanted to install Windows 7 on a shrinked volume from the OS_Install (back during the time when the whole thing was working fine.)

Therefore, I am posting this topic to seek help if anyone knows how to recover the notebook back to its factory state. I found some interesting methods but they didn't seem to work for me, and I am slightly lost. I deeply apologize for posting in the wrong section if this is done so.Īnd yes, I have tried to search for a long time now on MSI forums and on the internet regarding my problems.
